Every fall the Visual Arts department combines the gothic style of Edward Gorey's illustrations, and Edgar Allan Poe's gothic literature with a pen and ink assignment. The students pick a scene from their favorite Poe story or poem and make an illustration using hatching techniques learned in class. These are works in progress. Stay tuned for the finished products!
